Q: What age is the Infinity Racer magnetic train set for?
A: It's designed for ages 3–12, and that's where most kids get the most out of it — old enough to build the 3D layouts independently, young enough to be delighted by a train that drives upside down. Older kids (9–12) still enjoy building the more complex multi-level layouts, especially with the Extra Large track. We don't recommend it for under-3s because the set contains small magnetic parts.

Q: How does the train stay on the track when it's upside down?
A: Magnets. Each track cube contains a magnetic connector, and the train's chassis is magnetised to match — so it grips the rail rather than just resting on it. That's what lets it climb vertical sections, run sideways and hang inverted through a 360° loop without falling off. It's also why the track doesn't pop apart mid-race the way clip-together plastic track does.

Q: What's the difference between the Small, Large and Extra Large sets?
A: We have 3 sizes. Small Set - 75PCS. Large Set - 100PCS. Extra Large Set - 164PCS

Q: Is it compatible with other magnetic track brands?
A: No

Q: Does it need batteries?
A: Train cars are rechargeable via USB-C. It takes 10-15 mins per charge and charge time.

Q: How long does it take to build?
A: It takes as little as 5 mins to build your first track.

Q: Is it safe? It has magnets.
A: The set is rated for ages 4+ and the magnets are enclosed within the track cubes rather than loose. As with any construction toy containing small parts, it isn't suitable for children under 3 or for any child who still mouths toys.

Q: Can I buy extra trains and track separately?
A: Yes. Every train in this collection — Nova, Comet, Blaze, Shadow and the rest — works on any Infinity Racer track, so you can add to a set you already own. The Sky-High Bridge and Rocking Bridge add-on sets extend an existing layout without needing a second full kit. Most families start with a Small set and expand from there.

Q: Is this a good gift for a 5-year-old?
A: It's one of the strongest ages for it. A 5-year-old can build simple loops unaided and will spend a long time experimenting with what the train can and can't climb — which is genuinely early physics, though they'll just think it's fun. For a 4-year-old, expect to build the first few layouts together.

Q: Do you have sets for girls?
A: Yes — the Princess Infinity Racer Train comes with a pink and pastel track, and Rosie the Princess Cruiser is a standalone train that runs on any Infinity Racer layout. The mechanics are identical to the classic sets; only the colourway differs.

Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Shipping takes between 5 and 10 business days.
